
I think music is such a great source of healing. Our moods can be altered in an instant by listening to a song, or a piece of music. If I find myself not in the best of moods as soon as I put on Shakira's 'Waka Waka' or 'Hips Dont' lie, my state alters for the better. On a journey in the car my mood can be made so much better by my choice of music. I love to sing along too. When walking out during the time of lock-down and the lack of interaction due to social distancing I put on headphones and drifted off into another dimension. I still have a smile, and a nod of recognition with the passers-by as I realise they too may be feeling dis-connected and isolated.
